Hey folks. I've been doing a fair amount of mechanical modelling lately, and have been finding myself re-creating the same basic shapes and objects over and over. So, I've decided to start a 'Greebles' library, where I can create re-usable parts, put them into a library and have them within easy reach whenever I need them. I've created a library and was hoping some of you could check it out to make sure it works properly for you. The folder structure is based on the default folder structure that Animation Master installs with. Last year, I posted in this thread about making a sphere with a uniform CP density. I've been able to improve upon the "volleyball" sphere by using beveled edges to eliminate the dead-end splines at the corners. Here's a more or less uniform sphere with 1,352 patches (i.e., 60 CPs around the equator): [attachmentid=20008] [attachmentid=20009] This primitive can be used in applications such as cloth simulation, or it can be used in conjunction with Marcel's Conform plugin (US$15.00) to simplify the geometry of an irregularly-shaped polygon model such as an asteroid or small moon. He was an AM user way back in the 90s. I believe now he works for ILM but looking for his Trex project. I had it on my old PC but it crashed a long time ago. There were videos, ortho files, textures. All done in AM 96 I believe but can't remember. Does anyone still have this or a link to it? thanks

Has anyone had the problem where you go to "Libraries" and there is NOTHING in there? I'm on a mac g5 running 10.5, so I'm assuming its the disk. If so, what can I do? Cause I cannot follow the tutorials until I have my models, and they are not in my AM>Libraries folder, nor can I double click on the "models" tab when doing a project. HELP please?

I will create a new model library (or use My library) and fill the library with all my new models. However I will not copy the models one by one but copy all the models as a total cluster into the library. How to do that.

Hi there, I'm just getting started with A:M and was playing around before starting the tutorial, I hit the "Reset all settings to their default values?" button under Help and now I have no folders available in my Library Panel where all the objects that come with A:M are stored and accessible. I have been trying for days to figure out how to get them back and I must be missing some simple solution to this. Please help, thanks aj

I have the annual download version of v15 on both my work PC and my home Mac. But the PC version has the full library, with all the geometric solids, primitives, etc. but the Mac version has only a brief version with six character models (and items in other categories, I mainly mention the models library just as an example). I also wanted to add materials (or other items) to the library, or start my own I guess, but looking around in the app folder I can't seem to locate either the existing libraries or a place to put additions.
