Thanks for the tips, Rodney. And I always loved the idea of translating my favourite 2D characters in 3D! When I'll do it again next time I can post more! -
One Upon A time... Life: Globin, the red blood cell
JackDrama replied to JackDrama's topic in Characters
You're welcome! Nice, Rodney. But one of her eyes (right side as you see the image) that eye looks from the wrong direction. Please, rotate it more from the (left side as you see the image) and the results will get better. I can help with that. Note: I did some mistakes in the first picture of (where she looks). But realy, why does she have black dots near the mout and up in her head in your image? "unedited version of your image looks cleaner to see what I mean". You should upload the image you created in the "Stills" page (because it's your own image)! And I wasn't the only who modeled her, but also some others worked in this too : Thom Falter: Body David Simmons: Hands Me: Head and Rigging -
John, I'm Here to help you with your project! Please, accept me! Eggiton posted more models on their website and I downloaded some for you. Please, use them! And an older rabbit version that would make a better plush toy "in my opinion". Please, tell me your opinion and I hope you'll like them! Have a good luck. John, I'm Here to help you with your project! Please, accept me! Rodney posted some characters we miss from older versions of A:M http://www.hash.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=46023 I think Sally would make a prefect doll, Spikey's eyes "with the eyebrows" would be useful for your charaters "please, use them (you are also free to modify the eyes the way you want)" and the characters you must use are "Galoop, Critter, Spikey, Flim Flam, Sally, Gurgle Glug, Billy, Ted, Professor, Tea Lady, Prinsess, Gent". Now, he also posted some A:M EXTRAS characters: http://www.hash.com/amtutes/X_Vol001/Menu/ Please, use "Mika in a Dress, Chameleon, Howie, Mick, Ricky Rat ,Neutron and Female B". I think Buzz, Marvin the Martian, the Skeleton, Gnome, Thom, Gala, Ms. Goodbody , Rabbit (2002 version), Wookie, Kee Kat, Old Man, the Alien with the blue shirt and Eddie "in my opinion" can't make very perfect toys "for your project". You can re-rig the old ones and all of them with the 2008 rig "if you want, please.I realy want to see them (the 1998 characters) back in action, because they're my favourite models ever! Anyway, Eggiton posted some more models on their website and I downloaded some for you. Please, use them! Cartoon Elephant Cartoon Saucer 5 cars (I think) And an older rabbit version that would make a better plush toy "in my opinion". WARNING. YOU MUST ALSO GIVE TYPES OF TOYS AND FEELINGS TO EACH MODEL: Fish (from 1999): Plastic Galoop: Plush Critter: Plastic Spikey: Plush Flim Flam: Plush Sally: Doll Gurgle Glug: Plush Billy: Ragdoll Ted: Plush Professor: Plastic Tea Lady: Plush Prinsess: Doll Gent: Plush Mika in a dress: Figma Cameleon: Plastic Howie: Plush Mick: Plush Ricky Rat: Robotic (press his arm and he will move) Neutron: Plastic Female B: Plastic Yetti: Robotic (press his arm and he will move) Red Robot: Metal Little Furry guy: Plush "CartoonRabbit1.mdl" : Plush Cartoon Elephant: Plastic Knight: Metal Shaggy: Puppet Cars (all of them): Plastic (with moving tires) Hope I helped! Anyway, I hope you will like the models. Car.zip Other_Cars.zip CartoonElephant.zip Cartoons_2.zip

I NEED AN A:M MODEL FROM THE 90'S by Rich Lovato
JackDrama replied to JackDrama's topic in Work In Progress / Sweatbox
Okay! I decided to use the "COOL GUY" another time , but I also wanted to use a mask model included in v4 (I don't know if you have it in v3, but It's surely possible to import the "Sculpture" file in ".mdl" files). -
The "One Upon A time..." show, where 2D french series that were educational and fun for kids to watch! The "One Upon A time... Life" as part of the "One Upon A time..." show (runing from 1986-1987) talks about the human body and how it works. If you don't heard about them you can see the theme of it! : If you are curious to see the show feel free to watch it. Back in 2013, I created a 3D version of Globin the red blood cell. ABOUT THE CHARACTER Globin is a red blood cell, Hemo's friend, with whom she carries oxygen and carbon dioxide in the human body. Half Pierette, half Betty Boop, she has big innocent eyes, but she is smart for two! NOTE WHEN SHE TRANFERS OXYGEN USE ''Globin Orange.mdl'' FILE AND WHEN SHE PUTS OUT CARBON DIOXIDE USE ''Globin RED.mdl'' FILE. WHAT'S NEW IN V2? 1)Fixed mouth curves for better lip snyc. 2)Better eye look. 3)Better splineage I know she's supposed to have green eyes, but I think blue eyes would be better for more beautiful apperance. ENJOY ! GlobinRedBloodCell.zip

I NEED AN A:M MODEL FROM THE 90'S by Rich Lovato
JackDrama replied to JackDrama's topic in Work In Progress / Sweatbox
Yes! It has another name: 1)It's a ".mdl" file I realy needed right now included from v5 until v9. 2)It's in an "Image-Contest" folder somewere. If there isn't that folder, maybe it's in the "Projects" folder. 3)Copy the Projects folder in your Documents (or somewere else) and try to open from each folders the ".prj" files (to see in what project he is). 4)If you found him, put the ".mdl" file of the character in the ".zip" file. If you didn't, maybe he's in an old extras CD (I don't know if there was something like that back then). GOOD LUCK! Anyway, It seems strange why you can't find him! If so, then how he was used by others? -
I NEED AN A:M MODEL FROM THE 90'S by Rich Lovato
JackDrama replied to JackDrama's topic in Work In Progress / Sweatbox
I can't bellive why it takes hours to wait for Robert to upload the character from the scene. I remember things were faster when someone wanted to use ("Putty Baby" for example) from an old A:M user: http://www.hash.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=39408 -
Perfect! I wish they should be back in the CD along with the new ones. I use v1.11d+ and I want to use them along with the COOL GUY "by Rich Lovato" too. That would make a big collection of actors! Please, Rodney add them (only the ".mdl" files) in a ".zip" file.

I NEED AN A:M MODEL FROM THE 90'S by Rich Lovato
JackDrama replied to JackDrama's topic in Work In Progress / Sweatbox
Propably that's why there was surely a ".prj" file with lighting setup in the CD back then! And I don't feel safe to do that (to talk to him "if the oil painter was the 3D artist I loved back then")! I realy need to use it for my comedy show "SurferZ"! He seems to look like a very cool surfer dude! Anyway I can modify him a little bit to make him look more like a surfer (and fix his proportions). But his face looks very great to me. I've been waitng for hours and Robert or anyone else didn't uploaded the scene yet, which makes me feel bad. How long will it take to upload just a folder with files in a single ".zip" file? It's very important for my work! -
I NEED AN A:M MODEL FROM THE 90'S by Rich Lovato
JackDrama replied to JackDrama's topic in Work In Progress / Sweatbox
Rodney: Calm thyself Drama. You are stating the obvious. Whoops. Yeah, sorry. Anyway, thanks Nancy. His model reminds me of the "VeggieTales" CG series style. I don't think I can find him somewere, because some models need the 2001 to be mixed in the ".prj"s wich I don't have. His mail is in this image. -

I NEED AN A:M MODEL FROM THE 90'S by Rich Lovato
JackDrama replied to JackDrama's topic in Work In Progress / Sweatbox
Of course he's not in v3, because that version was released in 1994. And he's in v5.10, v6.0, v6.1, v7.0, v7.1, v8.0, v8.5, v9.0 and v9.5. Please keep searching. I remember when I was 3 years old I was watching "BugBites: An Ant's Life" first released in 1998. Michael Schelp used the model for creating the characters, later in "Mee! Christmas" in 2000, "Operation: DALMATIAN fun with Letters" in 2001 and "Spider's Web: A Pig's Tale" (his ears "modifided" for the aliens as seen in the screenshot) in 2006. Here are the covers of his first CG movies. The last "BugBites: An Ant's Life" cover is from the original release. John Atkinson modifided him for "The Daydreamer" in 2001: Mazon Productions used his eyes for "Paleontology" and "Earth Stories" in 2003 as seen in the credits: & And Monteum Animation Studios used his hands (sometimes his ears) in "Skoda": and "Macca Strewth": If you didn't find him, he sure is in a ".prj" file somewere in v5 until v9, because I noticed in "Mee! Christmas" (in one scene) Michael Schelp used exacly the same lighting setup from the 1st picture (with the cool guy and his body too). I'm 100% sure about that (I have a screenshot). Please, give a try (search for a ".prj" file with him FROM v5 UNTIL v9)! -
I was getting to make a show using A:M and I looked at the stills (to get some ideas). There was my very favourite A:M stock model created in '96 by Rich Lovato! Unfortunately, it is not available in the new A:M versions and I realy need to have a coppy from an old A:M user, so I posted some images with this "COOL GUY". Please, post it! I need to use this model, but please don't update him, because I use v1.11d+. And I don't have an old A:M CD, and that is why I need it (the whole model).

Wow. I like it, Simon. You are getting much more talented in character animation. The movements are very realistic. Gongratulations!!!
