That's what the website feels like. It's like you have to promote it. On the Shorts feed in YouTube, they run your video in front of a certain amount of people, so you inevitably get some clicks and it's like you get attention all of the sudden! Actually they count if they just pause on your short clip. I only make them about 10 seconds long. I have Copilot to help guide me on the quirks of the YouTube "Classifier", how it decides how many Views you get. But it's become addictive! The longer videos didn't get many "impressions", meaning the Classifier decided to not show them. You're at its mercy.

Thank you Mike! The algorithm in YouTube can be a tough one to please. It doesn't like new characters, but I put my 3 characters on the floor at Club Flownuts. There's always a little "skip" when it loops. I don't know if its Blender or YouTube, or if it can be fixed.

Then Sbarky (dog character) is in the club, as the story goes. Who knows if he'll actually learn to dance better but he at least is on beat. I used 120 bps, 24 fps, then had him move up or down every 6th frame.

The website is kind of a flop (total flop so far). It doesn't get any views (nobody knows it's there). I get more views on YouTube, so that's more fun to use. I noticed shorts get the most hits. They only flash your video a few times, you see spikes in views, then they stop showing it. That's about it. Here my character is outside the club. Next is to be in the Club. It almost has a storyline

As far as making Flownuts flow, that is a much more profound question. It's like a smoke ring. And likewise, every time I go to touch it, it falls apart. It's like something is missing. Perhaps a storyline is what is missing. How about one about a man that went mad? Trying to make something of an idea he had. A shape that rolled just like the name, but from Flownuts, nothing ever came. Try as he did... a website, an app. All just fizzled to dust on his lap. Maybe YouTube was the way he should go, a place to put on a new kind of show. So that he will try with the things he had parted, a new way to feel like he's just getting started.

As robcat said, it is just a simple looping action where the flownuts move one level up and expand to the size of the flownut above them. FlowLights.mdl NutRoll.act

Here's the stats for viewers of the website! It's likely a map of A:M users that have seen this Topic and visited the site. I think I have things the way I like on the website. It just needs a lot more animation! http://flownuts.com

I think it looks good enough to demonstrate my "balloon pump" for air pressure driven Hypercarts. When multiple pumps are placed in a long distance tube system, it will show the track weaving through topography, up hills, etc. Is there a large "land area" model available to utilize? Here's how the other Tube Track animation came out... I should say "so far". I tried changing Index of Refraction, but it looked like it pointed out flaws in my modeling. It had a nice shiny look though, I hope to use that setting for other things, maybe buildings. I added another pump to better see the idea. One should be able to picture the airflow...

Yes, I had Ambiance on the carts. I made some modifications and I think this looks good enough for now. Replicating a vinyl transparent tube like at the hardware store may take a lot more time. Note: The double wall doesn't really do anything except to see it at the front end there. TransparentTubes-Rev1.prj

Thank you robcat! I think I still need to do something to the cart inside the tube, because it just shines right through. I'm going to study the clear plastic tubes at Lowe's or Home Depot...which could be a good picture opportunity of me...

I might as well ask for assistance from the start this time. I'm trying to make the track look realistic as possible, but not going for "reality". It's a polycarbonate tube (to make Big Oil happy!). It should have transparency. If somebody has something like that, please let me know! The choreography action is just getting restarted, but I've included the project (files embedded this time) to show how I'm using Paths to go around the bends. Weave_Split.avi Restart(06-05-25).prj

Good to hear you're back. I was on top of the world last October, getting ready to put my website together with my Android Project, my Hyperloop Intersection concept, and of course put the characters in somehow...Then I got steamrolled! 6-7 months of not having any contact with anything online, just a few relatives to call on the phone. Plus while I was away, it seems my briefcase was lost in a fire, so my 'almost ready to go' Android Project is gone, just gone. But I'm able to get my website up and running, even though it's not what I think it could be...and I'm looking forward to staying on my new mind stabilizing medication, so things like that don't happen again!

I removed the password and added a video file. AI is good at telling me how to explain things. I ask it how to say "The animations will get better" and you can see how eloquent it can say that. I'd say like "Animations suck for now, but you get the idea". Search engine bots should pick up on it now...We'll see if any people notice! I'm trying to put a place for comments. It doesn't show a box to type comments yet, but if anyone sees one, if you could, type something. You can type anything, I don't care, I'm just trying to see if it works. Right now, it doesn't seem to be working...

I am starting my website! It is about conceptual pneumatic "Hyperloop" designs. I have an intersection in motion drawn from the Flownuts Hyperloop Intersection and Puff2 models. Those can be found in a post called 'Models to Share' on this Forum. The conceptual 'hypertrack' is 15' inside diameter. The 'hyperpod' or 'hypercart' is meant to fit tight in the track tubes and sized to carry a semi trailer. The website is Flownuts.com Password: hash The website is still "Under Construction" but I plan to keep adding things to it. The concept of Flownuts is to be nothing short of the biggest corporation ever stemming from the transportation industry. Here's the look of the "HyperCart" It's meant to hold a semi trailer that is going to load and unload at high speed...The animation has not been started, but it will show: 1. The approach of a train of HyperCarts linked together coming out of the Tube 2. Carts disconnecting 3. Doors opening, cargo unloading and loading new, doors closing 4. Re-connect to carts and re-enter Tube When the cart gets to it's final Transport destination, it can drive on it's own to it's specific location...like a semi truck! With a Tube inside diameter of 15', the Cart outside diameter is 14', giving a 6" gap. The gap will have a flap to catch air for speed. Carts will connect together for long distance transport. Over long distances, Carts with heavier loads (water, oil, etc.) are in front, followed by products, followed by passengers at the back. The most ambitious project is to haul water from Alaska to the Baja Peninsula to develop the peninsula (condos), while dropping water off to Lake Mead. More will go on the website. I'm getting a little better using Wordpress.
