This problem occured for me when I had Norton Antivirus installed- I uninstalled Norton, and the problem went away-

there is no .chm help file for v13- use the v12 .chm (copy it from the v12 install folder) We don't do the .chm until docs are final which won't be until v13 goes release- If you are a brand new user, it's probably a good idea to stick with release software (v12)

the problem is that the index file can't be created because the A:M folder is read only download and install the latest version- it should resolve this-
