Hash Fellow robcat2075 Posted December 2 Hash Fellow Posted December 2 I think that email also needs a clearer message about what that link is for and how they can find the installer since that address doesn't actually take them to a download. Quote

I saw that, it's on the list. I think I'm going to be sent to the FAQ. but it's been that bad for a long time so one thing at a time. Quote
Hash Fellow robcat2075 Posted December 2 Hash Fellow Posted December 2 Since the latest installer is always at the same URL, perhaps the email could read Quote Download your installer from: for Windows 64 bit: https://www.animationmaster.com/ftp/pub/updates/windows/AM_64BIT.exe for Windows 32 bit: https://www.animationmaster.com/ftp/pub/updates/windows/AM_32BIT.exe Save the installer to your hard drive, run it, then have your serial key ready to enter when you run Animation:Master for the first time. If you are renewing a subscription, delete the old master0.lic file from the program folder before you run Animation:Master again. Quote

So I made this. It's simple and effective https://faq.animationmaster.com/index.php?action=faq&cat=1&id=48&artlang=en 1 Quote
Jason Simonds Posted December 6 Author Posted December 6 I know this will not make since to everyone but I have spent hours of reading & google'n and testing I have moved forward! I have been working on this error, for moving things that at this time will not work on our new host to my server. The client needs a new connection for this request as the requested host name does not match the Server Name Indication (SNI) in use for this connection. It ends up it's fixed by this small line of code Now I can keep my stuff on my server and Animation:Master on it's own server. This is a big deal because I use my server for testing and random stuff that can make Animation:Master unstable now Animation:Master will only have to come down on full server restart, not because I had been drinking and thinking to myself I need to try this! Jason Simonds Posted December 6 Author Posted December 6 Another big step forward! I have some local stuff to work on but, I really did more forward. I now have 2 servers and 1 data server working together. https://home.jdsimonds.com/speedtest/ Is on server 01 https://test.animationmaster.com/speedtest/ Is on server 02 They both share a back end data server, so if you run the test on at one URL the data is available on the other URL https://test.animationmaster.com/speedtest/results/?id=008p8n4 https://home.jdsimonds.com/speedtest/results/?id=008p8n4 Now I can start moving things that are not able to move to the new server with out hours of work to update, convert, and test Quote
Jason Simonds Posted December 7 Author Posted December 7 Ok last post of probably this weekend, I have my local problems figured out! Next weekend I will work on reports slow loading as that is something that should go fast Quote
Jason Simonds Posted December 7 Author Posted December 7 Ok last one! Here is the front end of that! Quote
Hash Fellow robcat2075 Posted December 7 Hash Fellow Posted December 7 You're right... that didn't make any sense. But I'm glad you're on top of it! Does any of that fix the slowness of reports.animationmaster.com? Quote

Does any of that fix the slowness of reports.animationmaster.com? It's step 1 in the fix. I'm just most likely done for the weekend. I will move reports to server 02 most likely next weekend. The data is already on the data server. But the site is on a server that is not part of the working cluster Quote
Jason Simonds Posted 5 hours ago Author Posted 5 hours ago Reports is on the new server and should not load WAY faster! Quote
