I am trying to use sprites to render a fire effect. I have some fire animations for the sprites. Is there a way to make them partly transparent with an alpha channel? I have an alpha channel for them but i cant figure how to load that into the sprite system. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Alright so ive been gone for a week but il try to post an update soon.

Sorry. My bad. I guess i read it to fast. Still i would advise using the plugin sweeper if you want to model any type of vine. There is a good tutorial on the sweeper site.

Matt: Here is the shaded wire frame of the back of the cockpit. Jetman: I am making it both for practice and eventually as a project with my friend. Thanks for the link though. Darkwing: Do you mean the detail in the back? No i havent done anything there yet. Also as a general question, is there anyway to use flatten to unwrap a cylindrical object? I am trying to figure the best way to paint the textures for the lazer cannons.

So could you add my name to the raffle?

Okay il try to post a wireframe tomorrow. Yea and the rotoscope really helped. Thanks again.

I would not use hair to model a vine. Try using the plugin sweeper. You will have better results

Okay here it is; Version 2. I made the back less blocky, added some more textures painted in photoshop, and started work on the canopy. I still have to make the engines more to scale. Next i plan to add more textures and more detail to the back of the ship.

Yea i agree that it looks kinda bulky. I will post a render of version 2.0 soon. Oh and Matt, thanks for the rotoscope. I didnt use one and was working off a few reference pictures

Hey so i was trying out the sweeper plugin that comes with animation master and i cant get it to work. There is a drop down list for crossections but mine stays blank. I looked at the tutorials on the sweeper website and i follow the directions percicely (i think) Is there some hidden setting or a secret code i have to know? I named the crosection the right way but it dosnt display. If anyone here uses sweeper could you please help me with this? Thanks
