Yea that and that A:M is not too expensive so the school dosnt have to make a major investment

Hi My name is Daniel and im just getting started with the program. I will order the 2007 version soon. I used to use a different 3d program (truespace) but it was hard to make things. I mostly just glued primitives togeather. With A:M i can make much more stuff. The patch system is much better and more intuitive. I also love the community here

Those models are so tight! You should make a tutorial. I am working on a star wars film with my friend. I wish i was as good with modeling as you are. It would take me a week to make anything nearly as good as Boba Fett. Great Job!

I am in the process of making a short film with space fights. If i have a spaceship model is there a way to aanimate it falling apart? I can add the explosion FX in a compositing program.

Yea It takes a grayscale image and turns it into a terrain mesh. If anyone knows of annother program that does this please let me know

My disc for A:M is scratched. It is starting to get cracked too. Often it dosnt start up. I have A:M 2002. If i buy the upgrade will i still have to use the disc when i start the program up? I love the program but i dont have enough money to purchase the new version on disc. I got my disc as a gift from a friend because he bought a newer version
