Phil Posted October 28 Posted October 28 I have 19.5D, E, F1, F2 installed to their individual folders. i was testing to see if i could duplicate the mouse issue. now when i open the other version i get keeps changing depending on which version i go into. I can power through the missing files and them point them to the correct folders. is there a reason this is happening? Quote
Ganthofer Posted October 29 Posted October 29 I tried having more than one 19.5 version installed, but ran into similar issues, even though I specified a new location (e.g. 19.5e, 19.5f1) when installing. I gave up and only have versions 15.0j+ and the current 19.5f2. Also, the ADD/Remove Programs in Windows 11 only showed Animation:Master V19 64bit once, not one for each installed version when I had 19.5e and 19.5f1. I'll be interested to see if having multiple sub-versions of AM installed (e.g. 19.5e...19.5f2). It appears to only be using the 19.5 and not the sub-version for the registry keys I found, which is the Default install location for all the version 19.5's I installed. Quote
Hash Fellow robcat2075 Posted October 29 Hash Fellow Posted October 29 I haven't had multiple letter versions of the same number installed since several computers ago. i recall it created some sort of confusion. Now when I need to test something in a different letter, i run the installer for it and over write whatever is in the appointed place. Quote
Fuchur Posted October 29 Posted October 29 A:M isn't a pocket / moveable software. It saves data to the windows registery and the path/strings in there are going to be the same per version. (meaning 19.5, 19.0, 18.0, etc. not 19.5 e, f, f1, etc.) This is pretty normal behaviour for most windows software which is not "moveable" (most of them) It is not an "issue" but by design like this. Best regards *Fuchur* Quote
