  1. I thought of a use case for animation:master. A few years ago I started to trace mascots from old dos games to teach myself splines and patches. I worked off of downloaded images and game rips wherever i could find them. I've gotten a little better since i started and I wanted to share some of my work of late. the first batch of models were from 2 years ago. and the red boba fett looking guy is from this week

  3. I'm learning to 3D print now. Here is the front face of the medal fresh out of the resin printer. It is printed at an angle to reduce layer lines. Now dried and cured. Printing supports not removed yet. Some will snap off, others have to be snipped off. Medal face. I'm trying to judge if anything needs to be made more prominent to survive the casting process. All of the detail has to fit in the 1mm between the floor and the rim of the "dish". CU of Thom and his paint brush. Layer lines are just barely apparent. They are more like random noise.

  7. Very good likenesses, I especially like King Graham, Lara and Duke Nukem. The Crusader model is also really good. Definitely takes me back, I remember buying "Crusader: No Remorse" at Babbage's Software when it came out.

  8. I got a 3D resin printer. My first print is the teapot from the Three Teapots Benchmark As it is printed on the build plate. This took one hour to print. At this scale the walls are paper thin. After curing and removing the supports:

  10. It looks like it was about this time last year I had to post this. I guess this is just a really busy time for my company and for me. I am behind on support mail, I'm behind on replying to both forums and Facebook messages. I have scheduled time Saturday to get on top of this. I'm on call for work but this is definitely a priority for me. I posting this while at work right now this has been on my mind but every time I think I'm going to have time to get to email support and all that something comes up.

  11. You installed over a previous installation of the same version? If so, remove the master0.lic file from the program folder.

  13. Yes it can be done. Depends on the material which once work. Some are pretty toxic so, but it depends. But you can easily go smaller than 0.1mm (100 microns) with a resin printer... If you go with 10-50 microns (depends on the printer if you can) you will likely do no longer see the rings with bare eyes. Still they will be there especially with round shapes you print in the "wrong" direction / rotation. (sometimes you can not do it differently) These are some of mine with my resin printer where you can see it on the sphere stuff too: https://www.patchwork3d.de/blog-5-en/schmuck-aus-dem-dlp-drucker-elegoo-mars-1029 But the problem with resin printers is: You need more time and it is more trouble for less strong parts. If you want to do small figures, resin is great, if you need strong parts to be useable in real world scenario you want a FDM machine. Best regards *Fuchur*

  15. Thanks! Yeah more artistically satisfying to make your own textures, using your own photos or painting them. Your project ends up being more unique in the end.

  17. If you already have v19.0 installed and running on your computer but not any version of 19.5, run the v19.5 installer, then copy the master0.lic file from your v19 folder to your v19.5 folder.
