@Ganthofer Thanks for your througly comment in explaining the radiance error. It seems to me the best solution will be to add the screen animation as png files. That way the animation continues to the end without stopping. A bit contruary to my idea an avi file is simpler, but I'm counting on a less powerfull computer as I now have. Or maybe it has to do with the codec i'm using. for the image convertion I use ImageToAvi 1.0.05 Usual I prefer uncompressed images, but t hen the avi grows into Gb. Codec Avi MPG4 seems to do it fine and gives a much smaller file of some 20Mb.

@Ganthofer: What exact version number have you tried rendering images with the AVI? Not sure. The usual settings I always use. Did the AVI work in any project previously? And if yes, what version AM (number and letter) As soon as I load the projectfile I get the radiance error. Then the avi file has become transparant. I can reload it one time, after rendering it is goone again. Does the AVI currently play outside of AM (z.b. Video player, VLC, ... ???) Yes. Except Windows Media Player. Do you have VLC or something that shows the video data? example from VLC See one. can I get a copy of the AVI (perhaps post it on your webpage temporarily) to test in the current 19.5F2 ? I made an download for the skyani.avi (zip file). May take some time to load (0.99Gb).

Great! Well.., to answer my question I tried to acomplish last minute.😐 I'm trying out an avii file on a screen background in a choreography. The funny thing happens that a 54 sec avi file (not compressed) has a strange behaviour in the 24 sec animation. On this site is a part called "Brains & Parker on the way to Penelope" that explains the subject. The screen animation stops as soon as the car stops. I could easily make a "still" from the last good frame, but it is a bit silly for a 54 sec file. https://mad-red.com/animationmaster/ With the avi file I get a missing plugin error "radiance error".

@Robcat2075 : as soon I discovered there were 3 groups atached and 3 not I used the empty ones to divided the other three. Then I just scribled the parts up with decals. A bit of a cosy way to fix the job. But it grabbed my attention as I had been suffering with this object /texture error for longer. Models don't really look good when they are decallled again, and it is a rather time consuming part. So I grabbed another object from the site and saved it in blender. After exporting it to Animation Master it indeed imported it, but with no decals. Then I changed the obj.mtl with a few changes and there was the model. As good decalled as possible. Certainly an enlighten for me as it works much more perfect than decaling with hand could do. Not sure what happens. Image can't be loaded. https://mad-red.com/animationmaster/

@Ganthofer The png files are already in the image folder. As I wrote in the Group editor are six groups. Only the 4/5/6 group attach the roof/midle and under part. So I used the first three to split up the other three and rigged with the decals the particular parts. @Robcat2075 Good to have a clearer site of how to attach the decals to them. I suspect they have a better placement than I could do. I'm surprised the decal attachement is that spot on. A great way to solve the decal missing objects!

So if I understand it well the error is that the object file will or cannot load the textures to produce decals. I downloaded the file to see what was missing. ( and couldn't resist to do it myself) In the group folders are 6 subdirectories and only three respond. Of course I'm not sure if the textures can be added to the *.mtl folder, I downloaded a simmelar object in blender format. Blender has no problem to expose the texture. Only I haven't just enough effort to bind textures to the object file. In any case, AM returns them bland. The subject reminded me to an update project file from AM2005.V16.0. It was called ClothHashBash, an example to use cloth expression. In that days there still was an ftp site! I hope I don't spam the topic too much with my enthousiasm. Two old gigs from the 2000 year. I don't no who made them, I do know it was the reason I bought my first version of Animation Master. 😊 greeter[1].avi flower[1].avi

I'm sure in the hiarchie of walrus there is a lot of stride. But for the skinhunting problem they were haunted I'm a bit back holding. I feel a bit sorry for killing a Rotweiler in Quake, but that is the startpoint for a shooter game. Otherwise I meself would be killed. Quake is terror and horror, not a kind walrus humping to me. 👿

I'm a bit ashamed for the Walrus. Pity to see such a kind animal being treated in Qiake.

Well, to understand the question reasonably I made a Suit for Thom. I repatched it a bit to fit its belly, and then made a Cloth_Suit and a Deflector _suit with the specific bound. Then I made a stand function for Thom, and related the Constraints of mysuite.mdl bones to Thom as "Translate to" and "Orient_like". I imported the "Cloth_suit" and patched it to the lower part of the suit down the shoulders from the mysuite.mdl. I imported the "deflector_suit" and patched it to the three midle rings of Thom's belly. Then I rendered Thom_suit05.cho with the SimCloth_Simulate. THe result is a bit harsh, so I corrected them to give the feeling of a Suit dangling a bit down with his stand pose. I'm sure Rob_Cat has a much better aproach to it, but it was just my curiosity. stand00.mp4 Tom_Suit_Cloth.zip stand04.mp4

Hey svetlic.., I see what you try to archive. Cloths tutorial are a bit rare in AM, as it has changed over the years. Before 2015 this was doin with a specific spring producere. Nowadays it is calculated on another part of the program. I have been trying a lot with the "Diana in a Dress" tutorial. This shows you how to connect the dress part with a cloth extention to the hip rig of the model. That way it acts as the hip bone to the dress bone to move alike, and then makes the dress jump in a funky way. I'm looking to your file and I am trying to fit in TOM. As far as I can see I have some helpfull files for you. You can download the Extra DVD here: https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/a9mpg510xtg24uez8nwxd/ExtraDVD_Tutorial_part1.zip?rlkey=p8xk64cm9oi2kmglc3nacllxc&st=tcfrfflf&dl=0 There are some tutorials about the cloth setting. diana in a dress.zip cloth95.zip clothtut.zip diana_in_a_dress.mp4

Hey nino banano.., I know you'll be promoted to use a new subscription for the latest version, and.., I see no reason not to do so, but.., what does your version AM:15 make it become usseless? Did you loose the activation code? In fact I'm really glad to have this last concrete CD of Animation Master!!! Not that I have trouble with net activation, but I am quiet a conservative person that has a rigid fear of computers hanging on the internet. I rather have a stand alone program that is free of the net, and that I can install and delete as much as I want. Presumaly most people don't have trouble with the one year annulation of the program. I'm just an owner that's very glad with something I can hold in my hands a a long life jewel to admire.
